จ้อง

v. 1. to stare, to gaze;

2. to look out for, to watch for.

เขาจ้องดูเธอไม่วางตา

He stare at her, never taking his eyes from (off) her. เขาจ้องหาโอกาสที่จะพูดกับเธอ He was on the lookout for an opportunity to speak to her. ตำรวจจ้องจะจับคนร้าย The police are watching for the criminal to appear so that they can arrest him.
